This is the best chair I have ever owned. After years of suffering with chronic neck and back pain caused by sitting in various office chairs, I discovered the Ergo Chair. I sit up straighter and can actually feel the benefits. I have tried other ergonomic chairs, but they didn't feel anything like this. I also like the fact that the "footprint" of the chair is small enough to fit my desk and that it looks very professional. I am going to buy 2 more for my family.
This ball seems to be of the same quality of those at the YMCA. I was concerned that it would deflate or that it would burst. Neither has happened. I am pleased that it is a sturdy ball.
Good durable ball - I have several pieces of Isokinetics fitness equipment and have not been dissapointed with any of them.
Definitely professional grade, unlike what I had before. Instructions are easy and complete, ball is perfect for exercising, stretching, pilates and core and strength training. It is everything it was advertised to be.
I bought the 55" exercise ball. It is perfect for my hight (5'4"). I liked how when I was buying this item, that it gave you a scale of ball sizes to your hieght. The ball came with an exercise chart the gives you some examples. Don't forget to buy an air pump if you don't have one. I would have forgotten that if a friend didn't let me about it.
I like it a lot though, and highly recommend this brand for an exercise ball.
I initially ordered a different set of hand exercise balls here on Amazon. I only used them briefly as I suspect they may be made with toxic materials (they have a very strong petrochemical smell and that odor lingers on your hands and fingers after use). So I decided to give the Thera-Band hand exerciser a try. I ordered the medium one (green) in XL and I really like it. It feels great in my hands and it looks and feels like it will last for a long time. The added benefit is that you can heat or cool the ball before using it. As another reviewer wrote, get the XL size rather than the regular size. After trying the green ball, I ordered the extra firm ball (black). So I warm up with the green, and switch to the black after I've loosened up a bit. Very nice product. If you have reasonably strong hand strength, I would minimally start with the green. I will probably order the blue to complete the set of what I would need.
This is the most user friendly, helpful hand exerciser I have ever tried. I am 77 yrs old with arthritis and I keep one by my bed, and one by the TV. Easy to pick up and play with and it's not a big deal. I recommend the XL even if you have small hands. It isn't much larger than the small one but the shape is easier to use. I have the red and the green ones. They are the least resistance but for my hands they work perfectly. If you have any stiffness in your hands and/or fingers, these really feel good and keep your hands more flexible.
I got this workout ball because I have cats and every time I've gotten one in the past the cats seem to be able to pop them with their claws. This one is great because it can't be popped and it just feels sturdier. The only problem I have with it is that I am exactly 5'6 and it is on the small side for me. So I would recommend that if you are on the edge of what they recommend for size, go the one step bigger otherwise you will regret it.
Love it! My physical therapist had me using one while in PT, ; I just bought one to continue the good work. If I have it around the house, I'm much more likely to actually do the exercises that I know I need to do, ; I can do them whenever a commercial comes on during TV shows. It's sturdy, easy to inflate/deflate. I just took it on a trip out of state for aweek-long conference, ; it really was easy to pack. Once the hotel, I asked the desk clerk if anywhere on site there was a bike pump, ; it turned out they had a compressor that blew it up lickety-split, to just the firmness I needed. So I was able to do my exercises just as if I were home, ; without carrying bulky or heavy exercise equipment along.
First, this is not a "power" pump! It is an old-fashioned push-pull pump. Second, the identical product is sold for about $28 (vs. $48)if you buy it directly from the same supplier I bought it from on Amazon -- and no returns allowed if the box had been opened. I feel ripped-off big time!
I love these Theraband exercisers, which my hand therapist introduced me to. I've collected some of the toys I used in therapy to use at home. TheraBalls are small, comfortable, inexpensive and effective.
They are great to use as "worry beads" but have had a fantastic effect on strengthening my poor injured and arthritic thumb.
I left on behind after a visit, and the hostess didn't tell me, because she loved using it herself.
Be sure to start with the incredibly squishy yellow one first and work your way up.
Another great product to use with this is TheraPutty. Thera-Flex Therapy Putty - 6 oz - Yellow - Soft Resistance
Just a very quick review: just needed a pump for the fitball so I bought them together. The pump is actually of pretty low quality. The plastic is really bad, everything looks flimsy...but it works, hence the 2 stars
I was told several years ago to do crunchs for the never ending lower back pain that I have been experiencing for years. Well doing crunches flat on the floor was very uncomfortable, which made it harder for me to want to do them. Then I found the pilates ball, and all the neck strain that goes with regular crunches does not exisit when doing crunches with the ball just below the curve of the lower back.
This ball is great. I had relatively strong abs but not really any definition. I need to do at least 100 situps before I can feel the burn and that takes a lot of time and is uncomfortable. With the ball I do less sit-ups and my abs are becoming more defined. I don't use it all the time so I can't attest to weight loss, but it does work well on your abs for definition.
Product arrived as described and in a timely manner. It was very easy to inflate using a bicycle pump and the enclosed pump adapter. As I am barely 5 feet tall, I ordered the 45cm size ball as recommended. It is OK, but seems a bit small. I wish I had ordered the next size larger. I would have liked to have a color choice as well rather than being restricted to a certain size ball being just one color. Overall, a great product. I'm using it daily to help regain my strength after a long illness.
The exercise ball arrived when promised. I haven't inflated it yet as we are just setting up a workout area.
This fitness ball is for my wife who stands at slightly less than 5 feet high. This ball is a replacement for a previous ball which was too big for her. The new ball is not only the right size but is also of better construction. She loves it!
This is a good size ball, I use it for my son's therapies and so far I like it. It hasn't lost air yet which is a plus. Overall I am happy with this ball.
My son's 3rd grade class doesn't use chairs they use these balls to sit on (yellow). Very effective to encourage learning as the slight bouncing stimulate the brain to work for effectively. LOVE it, highly recommend!
